Horsemanship & Riding Lesson Packages

Rocking M Ranch tailors each individual riding lesson to the student's goals and desires. Lessons are most often private one on one sessions, however it is proven that children learn quickly from each other and small group lessons are held daily.

Learning to ride a horse is a fun activity for young students and promotes physical activity, active learning, self confidence, discipline, and routine safety practices.

One on one teacher-student interaction with the horse allows the instructor to evaluate the student’s learning styles in order to create an environment where the student learns in a fun and positive manner while concentrating on being safe and thoughtful around and on the horse.

All lessons last approximately two hours and including grooming, saddling, learning the names of equipment and horse body parts, as well as theory, philosophy, traditions, basic horse health, and rider safety.

45 - 50 minute ride - $50 per Lesson or $225 per 5 Lesson Package, or 10 lesson package for $400 which is $10 off per lesson!

Draft Horse Riding Lessons

Experience our gentle giants! Our pair of percherons are perfect for all levels of riders. They stand at about 17 hands tall and are fun and easy going to ride. They are excelent for children and adults alike and they are also available for the Fence and Fields ride.

Trail Ride Cancellations

We will no longer be able to conduct trail rides due to circumstances out of our control. Logging in the area has rendered our trails unridable. We apologize for any inconvencience. If you have an unredeemed Living Social or Groupon deal, you can call them to ask for your money back or we would be happy to substitute the vouchers for riding lessons of equal value.
