The 60 acre ranch is located directly at the intersection of I-16 and Dean Forest Road (Hwy 307) and can be seen as you drive along I-16. Please call ahead before you stop by!
From I-16 westbound take the Dean Forest exit and turn right (and from eastbound, turn left). You will pass two gas stations and the Dean Forest Baptist church. Take the first right turn (Airport Park Road) and hook an immediate right onto Old Dean Forest Rd (which is basically a frontage road that runs behind the gas stations and church). You'll pass Savannah Pines Mobile Home Community on the left and then take the next driveway on the left (it is a dirt road). Drive straight down the road and it will lead you straight into the ranch.

Crystal started competing in rodeos when she was five years old. Alsongside her father while growing up, she broke and trained horses, worked cows and raised goats. In elementary school she participated in 4-H showing dairy cows and chickens. In highschool she led guided trail rides through the Chatahoochie National Wildlife Forest in Blue Ridge, GA and averaged 100 rodeos per year. Crystal attended the Savannah College of Art and Design and completed her BFA in Theatrical Arts at Armstrong Atlantic State University.
Crystal has been a riding lesson instructor for twelve years. She worked as a barn manager and carriage horse trainer for Historic Savannah Carriage Tours for six years. Crystal has competed in national rodeos all over the southeast and has worked with world renowned trainers her whole life.
Rodeo associations she has competed with include Professional Cowboys Association, National Cowboys Association, Florida Barrel Racers Association, Florida Highschool Rodeo, Georgia Highschool Rodeo, National Calf Ropers Association, Central Florida Youth Rodeo. She also has shown western pleasure at the American Quarter Horse Association and Appaloosa Horse Show Association national breed shows. |

Johnny Mindedahl

Johnny worked as a professional farrier for 35 years throughout the southeast. He has also been a professional horse trainer, cattleman, farmer and USDA livestock agent. He was a pro rodeo calf roper for 30 years and has cowboyed across the USA. He has held memberships with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, the International Rodeo Association, Florida Calf Ropers Association and several more. Johnny has shod horses for celebrities such as Ted Turner, country music stars like George Strait and has shod multiple world champion performance horses as well as olympic competitors. He has worked as a large animal vet tech for 30 years alongside some of Florida's top equine vetrinarians and helped develop the eggbar horse shoe. |

Christa
Assistant Manager
Originally from Atlanta, Christa grew up spending summers riding horses at camp. Eventually she became a counselor and wrangler at Valley View Ranch Equestrian Camp for Girls in Cloudland, GA, and worked there 6 summers teaching lessons and leading trails. She moved to Savannah to attend the art school and has a BFA in Illustration. Christa drives carriages downtown and is a fine artist. King is her horse! |

Megan
Originally from Iowa, Megan grew up rodeoing, riding on trails, and showing horses in 4-H. She moved to Savannah in 2005 to attend college. She drove carriages for Carriage Tours of Savannah for several years. She has a BFA in Graphic Design from SCAD and is currently the in house graphics and marketing designer for Oracal USA. Pam and Peaches are both Megan's horses! |

Katie
Katie grew up in Savannah, riding at Norwood Stables and assisting with lessons and camps. She attended Mercer University and graduated with a degree in Marketing. She was the president of Mercer's intercollegiate equestrian team. She drove carriages for Historic Savannah Carriage Tours for several years. Silver is Katie's horse!
Katie is currently in the Marines and is off traveling the world. |
